History

Followfocus has been shooting since the age of ten, when he purchased a Kodak 110 cartridge camera from Eckerd drugstore. Originally from Texas, his family typically vacationed in Colorado every year via the family car. It was on these long roadtrips where he became aware of old architecture, landscape photography and urban sprawl and how development was ruining everything. Followfocus: "Each year that we went on vacation, I noticed drastic changes in the environment. An old farm was now a shopping mall, a beautiful lake was now a Walmart parking lot. I used to love the old ghost town houses and ancient barns I would see along the way, but even they are getting bulldozed. Its amazing how they have lasted for so long. It should be an indication to the disposable generation of how building something to last really is better for the environment overall"
