History
During the 1950's, Ernie and Pete Harris started selling their pontoons in Indiana and Michigan with great success. When they realized there was a strong market and desire for the groundbreaking design of their pontoons, Harris Manufacturing was born. They set up shop in Fort Wayne, IN in 1957.
In 2005, Harris Flotebote was acquired by Brunswick Corporation and is now a part of their Brunswick Boat Group. Harris is still headquartered in Fort Wayne, IN.
