| Andrew, you're writing some incredible content. However, I'm concerned that it will not be picked up readily by the search engine crawlers, because you've not really used wiki-linking or semantic tags to more fully optimize the page for search engines. If you don't mind me poking around what is assuredly your page, I might be able to help you with that. (Or, is it not a concern for you, if the wider world doesn't discover your journal?) -- MyWikiBiz 19:39, 3 February 2009 (PST) | | Andrew, you're writing some incredible content. | + | :That would be wonderful, Greg - I decided to take up putting my travelog on MWB to accomodate for people who did not have Facebook or were friends with me on it (I originally spawned this project there). Indeed, if I wanted it to remain privy to only 400-odd people, I would have just kept it on Facebook, but my whole intent of mirroring it on MWB was to disseminate it to the wider world. As you might have guessed, I am not really versed in how the MWB brand of MediaWiki functions, so I missed the entire semantic tags dealio. With that said, I would absolutely appreciate you optimize my page for search engines so that it can be discovered - I plan on writing more and using MWB as my main outpost. |

| + | :It's still a work in progress - I plan on writing maybe two or three more entries then tidying up typos, adding missing dates, etc. You can start working on the semantic tags now, though, since I intended this to be viewed as my trip progressed. Thanks aplenty for offering this! AndrewM 06:47, 4 February 2009 (PST) |
