:: I don't think this is about Jimbo personally unless he wants it to be, really. It seems odd to me that he gets so upset over things like this. In customer service, particularly rude customers are often passed up to management. Basically, the longer someone has been working, and, more importantly, the more the person is paid, the more of that unpleasant stuff the person is expected to be able to handle. Which makes sense - getting paid really does make that sort of thing easier to put up with. On the other hand, if I go to a restaurant and pay good money so I can hear the manager complain about me to other customers, just because I'm upset that they raised their prices and then gave me half the serving size they gave when I first went there, I'm not leaving a tip or going back there again. (I'm sure you know all this, but I'm explaining my reasoning.)
:: So, as a stock-holding member of Wikia, Jimbo is paid quite well, whereas most of the people around him are not. I guess having power as an administrator, with the favours that go with, counts as some sort of payment, more than the standard editor at least, certainly more than banned users, who are not only unpaid but punished, but it's still not the same as actual money. So, as someone paid so well, he should really be taking the responsibility for dealing with angry people - often very justifiably angry people, it should be noted - off of people who aren't paid, and even those who are paid less, for that matter. However, if he can't even deal with the ones who come to him directly, I doubt many others will be comfortable bringing their problems to him.
