Lotus Jayne brings handwoven silks and accessories with contemporary style from South Asia to you. Our supportive relationships with fair trade collectives help the disadvantaged rural poor, particularly women, achieve stable economic independence through the production of revered traditional handicrafts.
Artisans Association of Cambodia (AAC)
The AAC is a fair trade association providing commercial and capacity-building services to small collectives which train and employ not only disabled people but also vulnerable women, minority tribes and the rural poor. The AAC is an active member of both the International Fair Trade Association (IFAT) and the Asia Fair Trade Forum (AFTF).
The majority of our artisan groups are members of the Artisans' Association of Cambodia (AAC). The other small businesses we work with are Cambodian-run and operate according to fair trade principles.
