Robotic Large Part Handling Automation Systems

Within the last decade industrial robot manufacturers have introduced a class of super heavy payload capacity 6 axis articulated robot arms. These robots can handle loads from 350 to 700 kg (770 lbs to 1,540 lbs). These heavy payload robots open up new capabilities in automated process design & workflow for large or extremely heavy parts. Utilizing these high payload robots the benefits of multi part handling end of arm tooling can now be brought to parts that weight up to 200 kg – primarily reduced cycle times, increased robot utilization, & increased throughput. Rimrock has the appropriate experience in large & multi part robot tooling design to execute projects which fully utilize super heavy payload robots.
