Continental Flight 3407 was a Continental Airlines flight of a Bombardier Dash 8 airliner that crashed into a home in the northeast Buffalo, New York suburb of Clarence Center, 6 miles short of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport Runway 23, killing everyone on board. A total of 50 people were killed, including two pilots, two flight attendants, 44 passengers, one off-duty pilot, and one resident of the house. The crew did not make any emergency declaration before the crash. The weather was cold and sleeting.
