Usage

These definitions are used by the following templates when invoked with parameter "European Soviet Union":

Map definition

  • name = the European Soviet Union
Name used in the default map caption
  • x = 50 + 213.4825 * cos($1*0.01745329252)*sin(($2-42.5)*0.01745329252) *( ((1 + sin($1*0.01745329252)*sin(57.5*0.01745329252)+ cos($1*0.01745329252)*cos(57.5*0.01745329252)*cos(($2-42.5)*0.01745329252) ) *0.5)^ -0.5)
An expression to calculate a location on the map via its longitude; evaluates as 0 along the left edge and 100 along the right edge
  • y = 100 - 49.1327 - 161.4897*(cos(57.5*0.01745329252 )*sin($1*0.01745329252)- sin(57.5*0.01745329252)*cos($1*0.01745329252)*cos(($2-42.5)*0.01745329252) ) * ( ((1 + sin( $1*0.01745329252)*sin(57.5*0.01745329252)+ cos($1*0.01745329252)*cos(57.5*0.01745329252)*cos(($2-42.5)*0.01745329252) ) *0.5)^ -0.5)
An expression to calculate a location on the map via its latitude; evaluates as 0 along the top edge and 100 along the bottom edge
