Alvin Fields is an American Musician (October 16 1950) is a singer/songwriter/actor, and has co-written songs on many R&B albums. His most popular song is the Billboard international No. 1 international dance hit "Let's All Chant" by the Michael Zager Band. The song went No. 1 instantly as a two sided record with Fields singing lead vocal on flip side of the single , a song called "Love Express", also co-written by Fields. He has a multitude of songwriting credits to date, with a list of over 300 songs in the BMI music catalog. His songs have been covered by Cissy Houston "Think It Over", No. 1 dance, Billboard Magazine, The Manhattans, "Am I Losing You" , the Detroit Spinners "Just To Be With You", Gladys Knight, and Dionne Warwick "Out Of My Hands" on her platinum album titled "I'll Never Love This Way Again", just to name a few. Alvin also appeared as lead vocalist in "The British Rock Symphony" world tour alongside Roger Daltrey and Alice Cooper, Billy Preston, and Darlene Love. His Acting Credits include the "Broadway On Showtime" production of the Obie Award winning musical, "The Me Nobody Knows".
