Natural health care (also called holistic, complementary and alternative, or integrative health care) uses neither surgery nor drugs in healing. Natural health practitioners use modalities that stimulate and strengthen the human body so that it is better able to maximize its intrinsic self-healing processes.

Examples of natural health care therapies and treatments include massage therapy, Shiatsu, BodyPeace, reflexology, aromatherapy, Qi Gong, and Pilates.
