Mencher who was born in The Bronx, NY, left NY and spent his teen years in Ohio, then was shipped back to The Bronx, NY at age 14, he had drug and alcohol problems, a drop-out of Music and Art in NYC. He has a hate relationship with his mother and father.  He was a problem child his whole life. Mencher has a half-sister, and a older gay adopted brother. (no blood relationship at all)
