==Dream for Kids==
==MISSION STATEMENT==
"The D.R.E.A.M. Program will provide a secure and loving environment, where all children and their families are treated with dignity, respect and be given the love, structure and stability necessary to build the foundation for self-esteem, respect for others, and a desire for lifelong learning."
==BEHIND THE DREAM==
(Discovering, Reaching, Embracing, Aspirations for the Millennium) became a nonprofit foundation as of February 1. 2001. DREAM is solely a volunteer organization comprised of a cross section of many disciplines, both public and private, working in partnership on behalf of the foster youth of San Luis Obispo County.
Many San Luis Obispo City and County top law enforcement officials, as well as members of the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors are also in support of this project.
DREAM wishes to extend thanks to the communities of San Luis Obispo County, the consortium, and especially the Department of Social Services for thinking outside the box in order to work in partnership on a solution which will bring our Level 14 children back into the County. Thereby supporting family reunification, and providing our children a stable environment.
