| + | In January, 2015, the owner of Wikipedialogs.com republished many of the logs from an old backup to MyWikiBiz for research purposes. In December, 2014 and January, 2015, several Wikipedians were globally banned for unstated reasons, and it is hoped that these logs will serve as research material for those who would investigate reasons for those bans. For instance, if a Wikipedian was found to be utilizing Wikimedia Foundation resources (IRC, for example) to arrange for inappropriate contact with others, it could provide insight into the reasons for those bans. |
