Some of her poems have been translated in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian, Serbian, Chinese, Hungarian, Latin, Hebrew, Polish and Urdu, and have been published in literary revues from Romania and also from abroad (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Germany, Mexico, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Serbia, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, Uruguay, USA).

For the literary activity Elena Liliana Popescu has received the Special Diploma at the International Festival of Poetry, Uzdin (Serbia,1997), the First prize at the Poetry Festival Novalis, Munich (Germany, 1998),  Special Diploma at the X Certamen de Poesia “Leonardo Cercós” (Palma de Mallorca, Spain, 2007), Diploma de reconocimiento y merito, at Embassy of Spain from Bucharest, Romania (2011).
