Garrett, political parties should be treated as any other non-profit organization (NPO). (Nation located, state located, etc are ''political subdivisions''.) Hope you don't mind that I added some add'l info to your home page. If you click through to your interests (film) & aficionados page, you can see those interested in film & entertainment + their contributions. This interlinks back to the friends/interests section and so on. I really like the way the relations & ASK queries work to encapsulate a ton of info/links within such a small little section.
Of course, all these semantic links get picked up by Google, so not only does in increase internal readership/browsing/networking, but the associated links are referenced by external search engines.
