The idea behind Rudder is to create a solution can be tailored to the needs of every user.

Rudder started off by addressing the most commonly required, but important elements of managing finances – checking balances, reviewing transactions, and paying bills on time. We then came up with a "What's Left" calculator that analyzes your expected income and projected expenses to figure out how much money you can spend today. (You can use the same money to pay off your credit cards or add to your savings account) Rudder is designed to offer users the ability to choose the personal finance features they want.
