Ron Suskind is the author of several bestselling books about political and social issues, including "Hope in the Unseen: An American Odyssey from the Inner City to the Ivy League" (1998), "The Price of Loyalty: George W. Bush, the White House and the Education of Paul O'Neill" (2004), "The One Percent Doctrine" (2006), "The Way of the World" (2008) and "Confidence Men: Wall Street, Washington and the Education of a President" (2011). From 1993 to 2000 Suskind was the senior national affairs reporter for the Wall Street Journal, winning the 1995 Pulitzer Prize for Feature Reporting. His work has also appeared in Esquire, The New York Times Magazine and Time Magazine, and he has contributed to the television newscasts "Life 360" and "Frontline." A native of Kingston, New York, Suskind graduated from the University of Virginia and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He and his wife, Cornelia Kennedy Suskind, live in Washington, D.C. with their two sons.
