Douglas R Gordon (born 25 March 1947 in North Vancouver) is a retired Canadian entrepreneur and business owner.

Douglas Gordon was born in North Vancouver Canada on March 25th 1947. As the son of Earl Russell Gordon and Elizabeth Margaret Gordon, he had the opportunity to live and be educated in West Vancouver, Mill Bay and Toronto.

Douglas attended Brentwood College and the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada where in he received a Business Administration degree in Wholesale Administration.

After working for Van Horne Electric Supply Ltd., he purchased the business with two partners and operated the company until it was sold to United Westburne Industries. In 1977 he founded Bydand Solar Centre Ltd and became the largest Solar and Radiant Heating business in Canada. Doug sold the business and founded Direct Connect, an advertising display business.

Douglas became a self-taught computer programmer and developed 36 websites for various clients and his own use.

He owns a home in Vancouver BC Canada, a winter home in Phoenix AZ and together with his wife, resides in Vancouver British Columbia.
