Overview
Capital Cooling is a national commerical refrigeration specialist. Set up in 1996 by Alister McLean, Managing Director, the company has steadily grown and now employs over 200 people throughout the UK.
They not only supply, maintain, install and service a vast range of refrigerated display cabinets, back of house refrigeration, cold rooms, condensing units and air conditioning, but also design and manufacture their own refrigeration equipment – something that no other refrigeration company currently provides.
The company exclusively focuses on the commercial market – more specifically hotels, restaurants, fast food outlets, convenience stores, high street retailers, petrol forecourts and local authorities. They have a large client base throughout the UK and are always looking for the opportunity to expand their client base with particular interest in working with large blue chip companies.
The main headquarters is located in Scotland where most of the day to day business operations take place including sales, administration and finance, warehousing, transport and distribution functions. The company’s national call centre provides coverage throughout the UK with support from by a team of dedicated service engineers.
In 2010 Capital Cooling added a new modern 21,000 square foot warehouse to the company portfolio.
The new facility in Quinton, near Northampton, is the ideal location for distribution around the Central and Southern England regions.
With facilities in Scotland, Dorset and now Quinton, Capital Cooling now have a strong spine throughout the UK allowing for improved delivery times and stock access.

Capital cooling sell a large variety of commercial refrigeration products including display chillers, storage freezers, ice machines, display freezers, storage chillers, heated/chilled counter tops, integral and remote multideck chillers, ice cream freezers, single and double glass door merchandisers, chest freezers, sandwich & pizza prep-counters, coldrooms, air conditioning, back bar bottle coolers and glass door dairy cases.
In addition to the many popular brand name refrigeration products stocked they also offer their own bespoke range of refrigeration products that have been designed and manufactured exclusively for Capital Cooling and can be tailored to suit a multitude of retailing requirements.

Capital Cooling focus on the provision of reliable and efficient service, maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment to companies within the retail, hospitality and leisure industries.
Their National Service Centre is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and is supported by a network of service engineers located throughout the UK.
Capital Cooling have a wide range of service, maintenance and repair contracts to suit all requirements from large national companies to small one person businesses.
