Buckley is on the board of directors for the [http://monicabuckley.org/ Monica Buckley Foundation], a non-profit charity dedicated to the memory of his sister who was killed in an automobile accident while attending [[Villanova University]]. This foundation has been established to promote the education of children and adults with learning disabilities, provide scholarships for persons planning a course of study related to the field of special education, to promote services that aid or assist the mentally challenged and to support research in the field of learning disabilities.
