The title, is confirmed as RareJewels which is going to be his first album with "no elements of pop of any kind" and is to be centered around neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop and r&b predominantly. The first single called 'Tear It Up', which will be the first release for DQ from this album, with the album being released in 2012. The latest single is confirmed to be Forever<ref name="Twitter">http://twitter.com/#!/OfficialDQ/status/184377238949609472</ref>. As of October 2011, the album has changed direction to a more soulful sound. The album's release date is confirmed to be 21st of May 2012.

Halfway through recording his previous studio album, RareJewels, DQ decided to abandon recording on the album and to focus his time on Winstanley. The album was recorded within a month and entirely produced using mobile phone applications. The album was initially scheduled for a release in 2013, but DQ had previously stated that he would release two albums in 2012.
