Sarey Savy (born March 1st, 1996) is a Cambodian American occasional actor and singer-songwriter. Best known for his musical work that focus on LGBT issues.

Personal Life

Sarey is openly gay[1][2]. He is the youngest of 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Career

In the spring of 2010 Savy became a West Coast finalist for the Anthem IMF singing competition but, lost to XOCH who reigned as the winner.

The singer signed a record deal with Tunii Records in the fall of 2012[3] in which he released his single "Sweet (Like Candy)" self written and produced. Following the single, to garner more success Savy has also auditioned for NBC's The Winner Is in which he was call backed but, didn't advance to the live showsTemplate:Citation needed. In January 2013, he then released his mixtape Thinking Out Loud mixtape with his new jazz-house single "IDGAF (If I Lose You Tonight)" February 2013.

On July 12th, 2013 he was the featured on the cover of the notable Seattle Gay News[4].

In April 2013, he signed a management deal with Double R Entertainment[5] and released a new single "Lay U Down" July 20th, 2013 and will be shooting his first music video to promote his upcoming mixtape "The Way We Used To Be," which includes an exclusive bonus track of "Wet" a cover from The Cataracs.
