Leslie Morris Golden

Leslie Morris Golden is an award-winning[1] writer[2][3], animal welfare advocate [4][5][6][7][8], actor[9][10][11], musician [12], software developer[13][14], political reformer[15][16][17], and astronomer[18][19][20] living in Oak Park, Illinois.

Golden began the campaign to save Onion the dog from euthanasia after a tragic family event in Henderson, Nevada. The eventually successful campaign to save Onion’s life, using pro bono attorneys with legal fees paid by Golden and his animal welfare group, reached the Nevada Supreme Court, took nearly two years, and gained international attention.
