Pomeg-Tech is an Israeli company providing comprehensive consulting and project implementation services for the pomegranate industry, by acknowledged experts in the field.
History
Pomeg-Tech was established in 2006 by a group of six Israeli experts, each specializing in one of the major technologies developed in Israel for the pomegranate industry. These experts have well documented records, both local and international, of their broad experience in R&D, extension and projects management. Specifically, they include well known extension experts in growing fruit crops in general and pomegranate in particular; a packing house and cold storage specialist with a broad experience with various fruit crops, including pomegranate; an agricultural engineer, who was the head of the team that developed the technology and machine for extracting the pomegranate arils, separate them from extraneous materials and packing them in a consumer's Modified Atmosphere Package (MAP); a specialist in food technology and processing of agricultural products, including food safety issues; experienced extension specialists and a specialist in the management, implementation, marketing and technology transfer of global business systems. The combined know-how of the group, with additional recruited specialists, (if and when needed) will be at the disposal of the customer from project initiation to final implementation.
