gnuTrade (pronounced 'noo trade') is an online financial trading platform that offers new, simple ways to trade the global markets, and uses striking game-like graphics to make the trading experience enjoyable. About the trading platform
gnutrade's platform differs from conventional trading software in that it uses distinctive spherical graphics to represent financial markets, and gives users a game-like experience. The market spheres move up and down in line with their price movements, and this feature means users can quickly assess market performance without sifting through detailed numerical data. Various other visual representations are used on the trading screen to convey market information at a glance, and details can be viewed by zooming in on the individual market spheres.
The platform is designed to be sophisticated enough for professional traders yet uncomplicated for people who lack trading knowledge and market experience. A Spanish language version of the platform is available as well as the English language platform, and translations into many other languages are likely to be launched in the future.
'Trade from anywhere'
Unlike traditional trading software, the gnuTrade platform is completely online, so no downloads, special installations or updates are required in order to start trading. This means that users can trade from virtually any computer (Mac or PC) with an internet connection. They are not 'tied' to a particular computer at home or at work to carry out trading activities, giving added flexibility to the user. Trading widgets
The notion of trading from anywhere is further supported by the availability of gnuTrade trading widgets. The latest widgets, 'World Markets' and 'Mini World Markets' can be embedded on any website or blog and allow users to trade without having to visit the main gnuTrade website.
The widgets enable access to the same trading platform as from the gnuTrade site, and all its functions. Again, there is no need for people to sign-up in order to embed the widget or to use it to trade as a guest user with play money. Those who choose not to use the gnuTrade platform for trading can still benefit from the presence of the trading widget on their site, as it gives free access to live market price data.

About the company
gnuTrade NV(pronounced “noo-trade”) was founded by experienced financial traders who realised that market trading could be easier, more enjoyable and more accessible to the general public if muddled data screens and complex trading methods were simplified.
