Pfizer Inc. — The Group's principal activities are to discover, develop, manufacture and sell prescription medicines for humans and animals and also healthcare products. The Group operates in three segments: Human Health segment, Consumer Healthcare segment and Animal Health segment. Human Health segment includes treatments for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, central nervous system disorders, arthritis and pain, infectious and respiratory diseases, urogenital conditions, cancer, eye disease, endocrine disorders and allergies. Consumer Healthcare segment markets medications for oral care, upper respiratory health, tobacco dependence, gastrointestinal health, skin care, eye care and hair growth. Animal Health segment discovers, develops and sell the products for prevention and treatment of diseases in livestock and companion animals. In June 2006, the Group announced to sell Consumer Healthcare business. In 2007, it acquired BioRexis Pharmacetuicals Corp.
