Centiare is an online reference directory. It supports advocate points-of-view (APOV) within "user-owned" commercial, non-profit, socio-political, government, and personal Directory listings, and features advanced semantic tagging capabilities to organize, search and report information.

Centiare is powered by the same collaboration and editing software used by Wikipedia, with the addition of custom extensions that enhance its core functionality:

  • Centiare includes Directory listings that cannot be edited/modified other than by rightful page owners.
  • Centiare supports advocate points-of-view (APOV) within Directory listings, as well as traditional neutral points-of-view (NPOV) for main page contributions.
  • Centiare incorporates semantic tagging that enables quick and accurate searching, browsing and reporting.

Centiare is a service of Karl Nagel & Co., LLC.

Directory Listing

Centiare's custom extensions and modifications bring the power of the MediaWiki program to users who wish to create and control their own Directory articles/pages. Within protected Directory listings, users are free to advocate, advertise, promote, etc. without interference from other users/editors.

Semantic Tagging

Centiare's custom extensions and modifications enable cross-referenced relationships and attributes (shown below) to be generated automatically. Simply by using semantic tags in the accompanying Infobox, Directory pages and portal listings can produce general/customized reports to help potential customers find the information they need relevant to your company and/or service offerings.
