Kirill Lokshin is the coordinator of Wikipedia's Arbitration Committee.[1] Under his watch, the Committee has endured scandal after scandal, from the pseudonymous FT2's zoophilia edits to David Boothroyd's exposure and resignation.[2][3][4][5]

Resumé

Kirill was 22 years old in December 2006, when he was appointed to Wikipedia's Arbitration Committee.[6]

In 2005, Mr. Lokshin stated that he was "shamelessly stealing [a] userbox idea from Essjay," a fraud who was dismissed from all positions of authority after having been caught lying to the press and falsifying his credentials.[7][8] Nine hours later, he added that he was "an engineer living in the state of Maryland."[9] Mr. Lokshin was only 21-22 years old at this time.

In December 2006's Arbitration Committee elections, Kirill said, "I'm an electrical/computer engineer by profession."[10] Sixteen months later, he made a minor change to his userpage statement: "Professionally, I'm an engineer…" [11] On August 10, 2008, the Washington Post’s Tom Dunkel described him as a "24-year-old software engineer from Rockville" [12][13]

As recently as October 2008, he gave his address as that of his parents.[1]
