'''You Can't Stop Me''' is an EP released by the heavy metal musician [[Directory:Tom Walker|Tom Walker]]. It was released on September 21, 2009 for free online download. All five tracks along with lyric sheets and album covers were made freely available from [www.mediafire.com/tomwalkermusic] as well as Walker's Myspace and Last.fm pages (not all tracks are still on the Myspace). The EP is Walker's third release, discounting singles, and is his first concept album. All five tracks form a loose theme of unrequited love and the desire for revenge. Like both of Walker's previous releases, the EP includes an instrumental track, in this case 'Hidden Universe'. The nine-minute closing track 'The Return' was Walker's longest at the time of the release. Also, by total coincidence, each track on the EP is longer than the one before it.

You Can't Stop Me is an EP released by the heavy metal musician Tom Walker. It was released on September 21, 2009 for free online download. All five tracks along with lyric sheets and album covers were made freely available from http://www.mediafire.com/tomwalkermusic as well as Walker's Myspace and Last.fm pages (not all tracks are still on the Myspace).

A small number of CD copies were also produced. These were distributed as gifts to Tom Walker's friends and supporters.

Track listing

  • 1. You Can't Stop Me (4:02)
  • 2. The Truth Will Survive (4:03)
  • 3. The Mission (4:26)
  • 4. Hidden Universe (5:02)
  • 5. The Return (9:32)

Singles

Two free singles were released online to promote the EP. These were 'The Truth Will Survive' and 'The Mission'. In a first for Tom Walker's releases, both tracks had different single and album versions. The single version of The Truth Will Survive was almost a minute shorter, whilst the single version of The Mission was re-mixed with louder vocals and the guitar solos panned to either side of the mix. The single version of The Mission was also unusual as it was double-billed with its B-side; the single was released as The Mission/Testament and the latter song was given top billing on the single's online release.
