We came up with a technique called '''Aficionados'''. Using the template <nowiki>{{aficionados}}</nowiki>, one can automatically place a set of links pointing to different discussion/link sections residing in [[Centiare:Subpage|subpages]]. Then, using a standard [[Centiare:ASK|ASK]] query, a chart of links to other interested parties, their interests and their contributions can be automatically generated!

And the beauty of all this is that it uses semantic tags to facilitate both the relationships and generate reports. Pretty cool, huh? Having a simple policy like this allows the Main space to remain clean & uncluttered, and we don't have a lot of people jockeying & monkeying with link spam, etc.

I also noticed that you were using a lot of external links <nowiki>[ ]</nowiki>, rather than internal wikilinks <nowiki>[[ ]]</nowiki>. All right, I finally got a chance to take a look at the tags you created for [[Directory:Francine Neago]]. Here are some comments & suggestions:
*The existing attributes [[Special:Attributes|NAICS Code]] & NAICS Code Title can used to classify her as (a) 54171 - a [http://www.census.gov/epcd/naics02/def/NDEF541.HTM#N5417 scientist] and a (b) 71151 - an [http://www.census.gov/epcd/naics02/def/NDEF711.HTM#N71151 author].
*I added [[Attribute:Professional Description]] to provide greater detail to the standard NAICS codes eg [[Primatologist]]
*I created [[Attribute:Language]] to handle languages. Note that it's a non-[[Ordinal number]], so it can handle multiple instances.
*I set up a new relation called [[Relation:Behavior Of]] to handle relationships between animals & behaviors.
*I created a new relation called [[Relation:Curriculum Vitae Of]] for those that wish to create CV [[Centiare:subpage|subpage]]s and relate them back to specific individuals.
*Not sure what you mean by the 'encyclopedia' attribute; could be a mistype.
I think you have an excellent opportunity to flesh out [[Primatologist]], [[behavior]], [[ape]] & [[orangutan]] in the Main space. While they must conform to [[NPOV]], you can use [[Centiare:aficionados]] to link her directory information, CV, articles, etc. to those articles. (Yes, the sem tags get picked up by Google.)

Alright, I went ahead and cleaned up/created some of the tags you were using. If you take a look at [[Directory:Francine Neago]], I think you will find it quite interesting how subject matter interests link to Main space articles (and vice versa).
Note also the user of the CV relation. While subpages allow the organization of detailed subsidiary information, relations provide semantic links that are picked up by Google. [[User:Snerfling|Snerfling]] 09:24, 8 February 2007 (PST)

[[Directory:Francine Neago|Francine Neago]] would be a great listing to incorporate academic papers & link them to general or [[Centiare:ERB|ERB]] Main space topics.
