Compucast Interactive is a full-service internet design and marketing firm located in New Orleans, Louisiana, employing staff and contractors representing the best in their respective fields. With backgrounds ranging from engineering to networking to graphic design and marketing, our team offers clients a complete range of web site solutions.

== History ==
Back in 1994, only one year after one of the first Web browsers were born, we decided to design a web page - ExperienceNewOrleans.com to promote the positive side of our city and help visitors plan their trips. Having been online since the 80s, we were increasingly surprised at the negative perception so many people had of New Orleans, and were determined to change it as best we could by showcasing the best of New Orleans - the side that we know and love.
At that time there were probably fewer than 1000 Web pages on the entire web while today that number is greater than one billion! Over time, as we continued our study of the ever-changing field of internet technology and online marketing, our site evolved into a comprehensive multi-page site that is visited by millions today.
We launched Compucast Web Design in November of '94 as more and more people began asking us to design sites for their businesses and promote them online. That was just the beginning!
== Current Operations ==
Today, Compucast designs sites for all businesses, and specializes in the hospitality industry with several flagship web sites designed to send traffic to the New Orleans businesses it represents (including NewOrleansRestaurants.com, NewOrleansKids.com, NewOrleansCoupons.com, MardigrasNewOrleans.com) ... all featuring the positive side of New Orleans ... and assisting visitors, tourists, and business travelers planning their trips to the area.
These sites combined with our online marketing experience and award-winning design concepts have successfully improved the marketing reach of all of our clients. Other than our web presence, we do not advertise in traditional media. Word-of-mouth recommendations from happy clients have been our only source of advertising.
As we enter the 21st century and the online marketing opportunities it brings, we look forward to continuing to help businesses of all kinds expand their success online!
== Experience ==
Compucast Web Design has shared their internet expertise in popular publications such as Hot Wired magazine and Meckler Media's Publication: Internet World's "Internet Broadcasting." and is often called upon to participate in local seminars on internet marketing due to their working experience in the area. They are known as the internet webcasting firm that broadcast the annual (and the first) Mardi Gras LIVE. Compucast is also a member of the:
