With the current records that are available I can confirm the newly arrived Xuvella's had two sons. The above mentioned Cosma Xuvella had a son called Giovanni (Ivan).<ref>Giovanni (Ivan) was mentioned in 1672, as a witness to a contract being signed, referenced from Vela Luka od 1490 do 1834 ''by'' Zvonko Maričić (p168)</ref>

The second son was Antonio (Antun) Xuvella  (b.1651-Jnr, born on Korcula)<ref> according to one of the '''Žuvela''' family tree Antonio '''Jnr''' was '''born 1651''' and is the son of Matteo. As mentioned before Matteo Xuvella is not part of the Žuvela Korčula family tree as being born on Korcula.</ref><ref>Antonio jnr was ''given'' the middle name Matteo.</ref>
