The site is no longer up, but the site's owner has been learning to manage a website, and is soliciting custom software that would allow multiple logbots to operate, thus bypassing bans handed down when individual logbots are exposed by material contained within the logs. The domain name currently points to the owner's personal site, and the owner states that he intends to re-open the site, and is currently collecting logs from Wikimedia Foundation IRC channels.

In January, 2015, the owner of Wikipedialogs.com republished many of the logs from an old backup to MyWikiBiz for research purposes. In December, 2014 and January, 2015, several Wikipedians were globally banned for unstated reasons, and it is hoped that these logs will serve as research material for those who would investigate reasons for those bans. For instance, if a Wikipedian was found to be utilizing Wikimedia Foundation resources (IRC, for example) to arrange for inappropriate contact with others, it could provide insight into the reasons for those bans.
