Christopher Efird is the Executive Chairman of NEXT Renewable Fuels Inc., a company which is affiliated with Waterside Energy Development. At Waterside Energy Development, Efird also serves as the co-founder, chairman, and managing director.[1]

Christopher Efird is currently working as an officer for Riverside Refining LLC, which is currently seeking a deal with the Port of Longview to build an advanced crude oil refinery.[2]

Early Life and Education

Efird obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) at Texas A&M University, and he also obtained a Master of Arts degree (MA) at Sam Houston State University.[3]

Career

Efird has worked at many companies, mainly equity groups and oil production and processing companies. He is the Principal of Promethean Capital Partners, LLC, an investment holding company that provides consultation services to local and international companies.[4]

Efird is the current managing director and chairman of Waterside Energy Development, LLC. He is also the executive chairman of NEXT Renewable Fuels Inc., a company that is affiliated with Waterside Energy Development LLC. The company is also a Delaware “C” corporation.[5]

NEXT Renewable Fuels, under Efird’s leadership, is working with Honeywell UOP to build an advanced biofuel facility at Port Westward, Oregon. The facility will produce 600 million gallons of biofuel per year.[6][7][8]
