Kickboxing (originates from Japan) is a form of martial art that combines boxing with elements of karate, in particular kicking with bare feet. Most popular form of kickboxing is kicking above the pelvis. It's not recommended kicking in the knees, because opponent can get seriously hurt & bout ends quickly. Also it takes long time for knee to heal & there are complications.
