The Academy strives to further provide continuing and challenging education for all as the dynamics of the real estate industry change.

Salesperson courses

Description

A candidate must be 18 years of age and complete a state-approved course to be eligible for a salesperson license. The course consists of 24 classroom hours of instruction which must be completed before taking the state exam. Real estate knowledge is not a course prerequisite. Text materials are included with your tuition.

Course Completion Options

  • Option 1: Complete the course in 3 weeks
  • Option 2: Complete the 24 hours in one weekend


Broker courses

Description

The broker license identifies individuals who want to increase their earning potential. If you are a real estate salesperson with at least one year of experience and would like to open up your own office or work for yourself then this course is a must.

State law requires broker candidates to have been actively licensed as a salesperson and have been associated with a broker for at least one year within the past two year period. The course consists of 30 classroom hours of instruction which must be completed before taking the state exam. Text materials are included with your tuition.

This course will run as requested and once per calendar quarter. Please, call for schedule or more information.


Consumer courses

Description

This course will inform you of your rights as a consumer and clarify the confusion of many consumers when they are asked to sign forms at the first meeting to see a property with a broker.
