Norman Technologies offers information technology consulting services in the context of global trade initiatives, including finance, payments, and supply chain management. Founded in 1997 by senior personnel from the Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and First Union (now Wachovia) corporations, Norman Technologies sells its services in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Norman Technologies is the only U.S.-based private-sector I.T. consultancy focused solely on global trade initiatives. The company is also unique in that it provides the only non-bank representative to the International Chamber of Commerce's Commission on Banking Technique & Practice. The firm is also a member of the International Financial Services Association.

A board of directors with external members was established in 2000. [1]

Norman Technologies' clients have included Barclays, BB&T, PNC Bank, SunTrust, and Wachovia.

The company moved in 2002 from Cornelius, North Carolina to a 5,000-square-foot space on the Birkdale Commons Parkway in Huntersville. [2]
