Emily Louise Hatten attended Central Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon. On [[Marriage Date:=2007-03-10|2007-03-10]], she and NFL quarterback Joey Harrington were married at All Saints Parish. She recently completed the Miami marathon, her first 26-miler, in four hours and 30 minutes. Joey completed the last four miles with her, trying to motivate her performance, but as Hatten told the Miami Herald, "I was wearing earphones and really didn't hear a lot of what he was saying."
Husband Joey has elected to take a significant pay cut to stay with the Atlanta Falcons, but wife Emily Harrington is happy, since that keeps her in her choice job with the Emory Transplant Center, orchestrating pre- and post-op plans for patients in queue for a new heart. The couple have really taken a liking to Atlanta and wish to stay there.
