Executive Director of Zunker Games, Danielle Martin, explains the games’ inspiration: “Since the early 1950s, my family has celebrated Christmas each year with a gift exchange game. My grandfather, Otto Zunker, made the dice used to play the game. He wanted us to spend time together and share in the Christmas spirit. A few years ago, I was hosting a Christmas party but the dots on the dice that Grandpa Zunker had made for me in his workshop were getting too old and worn to see anymore. I decided to make a new set of dice for my family as a tribute to my Grandpa Zunker. My friends were so impressed with Grandpa Zunker’s gift exchange dice game that they begged me to make some so they could play the game with their friends and family. The requests for what they called “Zunker Dice” never stopped and led me to create versions of the game people of all ages can play for almost any occasion.” | Executive Director of Zunker Games, Danielle Martin, explains the games’ inspiration: “Since the early 1950s, my family has celebrated Christmas each year with a gift exchange game.
