Andy Titcomb studied at Exeter College of Art and Design, earning an honours bachelor's degree in Art.

In 1990 he moved to North Cornwall in order to combine home and workplace and escape the rat race of Devon! In 1994 he was honoured to be presented to Prince Charles as part of Cornwall's "In Pursuit of Excellence" scheme.
