While the overall organization of Centiare is flat, certain sections do conform to traditional hierarchical structuring. Calendar dates are one such area. Centiare takes advantage of [[MediaWiki]]'s built-in subpage cross-referencing feature to facilitate hierarchical organization.  Subpages are generated easily by adding a forward-slash ( / ) at the end of the page address, followed by the name of the subpage.  For example, to make a month's subpage of the page about the year <nowiki>[[2005]]</nowiki>, one might make a page called <nowiki>[[2005/July]]</nowiki>.  Further subpages can be made of subpages, just by adding more slashes.
