With the new known drive it would system bomb almost immediately after Welcome to the Macinotsh screen. That's with onboard video. I replaced it with an Apple video card and now it does not system bomb, but it turns off video after a while.. that's with it's old drive. And with the new memory installed and old removed. and of course new PRAM battery. So I think it is likely a power supply issue, 19:22 < mareklug> because it is being flakey. And when I power it down and then try to power it up, the keyboard light and its own power lights flicker dimmy. When I unplug the power cable and replug it, it restarts. And there is no chime, but that could be because the chime is being too soft to hear.
