With offices in San Jose and Merced, and more than 50 attorneys on staff, we are able to provide personal service to our clients. At the same time, our growing staff allows us to offer a wide range of legal services, spanning more than 20 practice areas.

We’ve been in business since 1969, and our familiarity with local regulatory processes, key staff at regulatory agencies, as well as local judges and court personnel, allows us to work quickly and efficiently on our clients’ behalf.

History

Berliner Cohen was founded in 1969 by attorneys Stan Berliner and Sam Cohen, to provide real estate and other legal services to San Jose businesses.

Since then our firm has grown in size and sophistication with the community around it. Today Berliner Cohen is one of San Jose’s three largest law firms. We serve businesses and local agencies throughout Northern California, with more than 50 attorneys in our San Jose and Merced offices.
