"Sarey Savy" (born March 1, 1996) is a Cambodian ocassional actor, model and Recording artist.
Music career
Savy's musical career began in 2010 after his appearence on America's Got Talent
Savy released his new promotional single Murderer which was commercially unsuccessful. Yet still has had airplay and was popular among his fanbase also, more successful then his previous promo single Gone [1][2] the single had Cambodian bloggers say Sarey is "The coolest Cambodian kid you never heard of"[3]. Sarey has stated the new single "Let's Be Friends" [4] , this is supposedly taking Savy to the mainstream world and more exposed, sexualized image [5].
Sarey has been chosen behalf of Anthem's International Music Festival also known as IMF as the winner of being the representative for Seattle in a singing contest which he advanced to the top 70 for Washington state[6].
Other projects
Savy joined the 2 campaigns to help the LGBT Rights "Think Before You Speak" and "NOH8". According to his Facebook Savy says friends at school classify his sexuality as Bisexual. "I don't want to classify myself, i'm trying to figure out who i am" says Sarey.
Savy will be making his first film debut in the Thriller/Suspense movie Sanitorium with close friend Lina Huynh [7]. Savy confirmed as of August 2010 that the film's director spammed the cast and the movie may be unreleased the actor also says that the director has been contacted many times but, ever since July the director has been missing.
The singer is also building a store under Zazzle.com named SareySavyProducts which you can purchase Sarey Savy binders, a calendar, posters, mugs and more [8].
Controversy
Many on Facebook have slated that Sarey is moving out of his mom's house because, of constant abuse and that Sarey must befriend certain people the singer says "I choose for myself who i want to be friends with or who to trust" Template:Fact. "I am really worried about the downfall that Sarey may have his career may be at risk and so as his life" says an Insider Template:Fact.
Sarey may be doing another rated R film named Judas Kiss: The Movie where he will portray a Bisexual relationship with a man and a woman Template:Fact. However Savy says this is a myth "I don't even know the cast or director i wish people would stop assuming" sasys the singer Template:Fact.
