: The Google Maps API lets you embed Google Maps in web pages with JavaScript. You can add overlays to the map (including markers and polylines) and display shadowed "info windows". Google Maps API is required to run the MediaWiki [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Google_Maps Extension:Google Maps] that I asked about installing about a week ago. Is this installation still in the works?
