John, I am so thankful that you took enough interest in our volunteer-driven "study" of the Wikipedia articles about the U.S. senators. I will try to respond to your points on the page you left them. Coincidentally, a university course in statistics (in Belgium) is looking this week at this database, too -- with the objective of students to find flaws in the methodology and/or findings. Rather than be defensive about our results, I am quite pleased that people with brains are actually taking a closer look.
