The majority of web sites developed by Panmedia are done using [[Drupal]], we also use the [[Django]] [[web framework]] when possible. As with most [[web development]] the tools and platform we use will vary depending on the developer but there are some common ones. For design we use tools from the [[Adobe]] Suits of products: [[Photoshop]], [[Illustrator]], etc. At least one person uses [[Dreamweaver]] on a regular basis but most other editing is done in either the [[e-text editor]], [[ViM]] or [[Kate]].

As part of our development process we use [[Basecamp]] as a collaboration tool. While we host our own email and use most of the tools offered by [[Google Apps]] such as the calendar and documents.
