Stericycle, Inc. — The Group's principal activity is to collect, transport and treat medical waste. The Group's treatment technology includes proprietary electro-thermal-deactivation system, autoclaving and incineration technologies. The operations are conducted through 45 treatment and collection centers and 105 additional transfer and collection sites in 28 states. Its customers include 351,700 small medical waste generators such as outpatient clinics, medical and dental offices and large medical waste generators such as hospitals, blood banks and pharmaceutical manufacturers. The Group serves customers located in the Untied States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom. During 2006, the Group completed 16 acquisitions.
