The English Wikipedia project maintains [http://dammit.lt/wikistats/ server records of pageview (traffic) statistics]. This page tallies the 25 most-viewed article pages on Wikipedia, by month, while removing the superfluous pages that users end up viewing as a result of landing on an unintended page (such as "wiki", "Wikipedia", "search", etc.).

In October 2011, the Wikipedia main page received 123.9 million page views, halting a three-month decline. The "404 error" page received 7.2 million views. The page for "wiki" received 3 million views. "Search" had almost 1.3 million views. The remaining top 25 intentional content pages were:
