The company's history goes back to 1993, when it was founded as Empty Street Productions- one of the first web design companies in the USA. The company was founded in Atlanta, Georgia and relocated to Los Angeles in 1997. In 2008, Empty Street founder Patrick Ortman realigned the company more towards a digital agency model. PatrickOrtman, Inc. is a privately held corporation.
